About the TMTR format
Costs and booking
Cancellation policy
Workshops typically last 3 hours and involve 24 students. Additional students may be accommodated, provided they have been booked in advance. This is to ensure that there are sufficient equipment, certificates and badges for all who take part.
The presence of a teacher is required for each workshop, and any additional help is welcome. Inviting parents to help may be a good idea, and can be an enjoyable way for them to share in their children’s experience of the roadshow event.
Please note: Key Stage 1 classes need to have one helper for each group of
four pupils. In Key Stages 2 and 3 provision, older students can make excellent peer assistants, particularly in the mathematics workshops.
TMTR activities are also suitable for summer schools, weekend and evening events.
